The Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid

As per the 80:20 rule the majority of the worlds wealth is controlled by a small percent of people. There are some 4.5 billion people surviving on less than $4 a day. Despite this small amount the simple math reveals that this is $18 billion that is spent each and every day, by what could be assumed to be a similar demographic.

As published by Time magazine in March 2010 the penetration of  TV in developing countries opens up the opportunity to revert to something that there is no reason not to be good at, and deliver products and services with well targeted television advertising to this market.
